In December 2023, the VI Moscow International Universiade in Human Anatomy "ANATOM and Me" named after Academician M.R. Sapin was held. The Olympiad was held in the walls of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.   The teams of KMU "Prominens de kgma" "Atlantes" took the 3rd place and were awarded with medals and diplomas. Also the teams were separately noted in the competition of homework and were awarded with the prize: "The best crossword puzzle". The Universiade included 6 sections: Theory in anatomy, homework, game, Latin terminology, practice in anatomy (cadaver), contest-blitz mazes. The participants of the Olympiad showed themselves with the best side. We express our gratitude to the head of the team "Prominens de ksma" T. Abaeva and the head of the team "Atlantes" Abirova R.E. Also the teams express their gratitude to the management of KMU for the opportunity to participate in this Olympiad.  

Amina Khalil, a 3rd-year student of General Medicine in English Program of KMU, after successfully passing the summer semester exams and passing the summer internship, on days free from the educational process, completed an observership at an American hospital in Dubai, UAE. She practiced in various departments of the hospital, including emergency departments, gastroenterology and internal medicine. The management and doctors of the hospital noted the high level of knowledge and commitment of the student to the high moral and professional principles of medicine. At the end of the observership, the student received a letter of recommendation from the hospital management. We wish you further success in developing and acquiring new medical skills!

From April 11 to 13, 2024, Kyrgyzstan Medical University hosted the XI International Youth Scientific Medical Forum "White Flowers" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of N.A. Semashko. The 30th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists was held within the framework of forum, in which postgraduates of KMU made presentations and won prizes. In the section "Surgery, traumatology, urology" B.A. Atakulov (postgraduate of the Department of Faculty Surgery named after Acad. K.R. Ryskulova, scientific supervisor – d.m.s., professor E.Zh. Zholdoshbekov) received a diploma of III degree.  In the section "Pharmacy" P.T. Uralieva (postgraduate of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Drug Chemistry, scientific supervisor – c.m.s., associate professor A.D.  Muratalieva) distinguished herself with a diploma of III degree. "We were impressed by the organization and content of conference, which provided us with unique opportunity to share knowledge and experience with colleagues from different countries. A high level of presentations and discussions is noticeable, which stimulated our interest in further scientific and professional growth," young scientists shared.
